Tamiya 1/48 Sd.Kfz.232 winter camo ( new photos )

this is the first time I have tried to do a winter camo with any conviction I might add

I think it looks ok for a first attempt but I'm open to advice on improvement

The kit itself is very good and very easy I put this together yesterday afternoon and had the main paint on it by early evening ( doing scruffy paint jobs lessens the time )

    Anyway here it is

Blimey you certainly are very prolific Alan in producing stunning models overnight.

Very authentic a nice deep frost coating. Like the way you have retained the slightly

rusted touch around the areas which produce heat and the vertical areas without a

      frost coating.

Cheers guys I appreciate the great comments

I an going to add a bit to it there are a few places that need a bit of definition not a great deal just enough to give it a bit of depth

That's a very good winter camo Alan!!

                        I love it

If you are looking to add some depth, you can apply a dark green/grey filter at the model. Works very good! I always do it in my models

Cheers guys and gal I appreciate it

It was difficult to do a slow job on this as there's not to many parts and it goes together well , the painting was easy as I used humbrol and revel acrylics so they dried quickly and I didn't have to worry about a smooth finish as I wanted some rough areas , the scuff and fade was just a dry brush so that dries emediatly , then it's just some detail to finish off

While I was talking to Simon about this as I wanted his Input on what I'd done already he sent me this pic

we were both surprised on how close my build was and it gave me some ideas on how to carry on
