    Korean K1A1 Custom Camo

Hey guys, Got another tank done, Well two tanks and one humvee M2. This time its a korean mbt, the K1A1. I finished it in a custom camo, by that i mean i didn't have the correct camo colors so i just used whatever and done it it whatever style i could think off. I also put extra bags and cans on it to give it more detail.

Great build, I know next to nothing about armour but I know a good model when I see it.

Wow, thanks guys! I really thought my IS3 would have stolen the show, this kit was really bad in terms on fitting together, the amount of putty i had to use was insane, well actually it wasn't that much but it covered 30% of the tank lol. You can still see the rear where it doesn't quite fit, plus the paint was so streaky it needed two base coats, two secondary camo coats and i just loaded the brush up for the third camo color to save going back over it a second time which helped but it still needed touched up.

I think base coats need sprayed on from now on. i dunno why but paint has gone downhill over the last year and no amount of shaking and stirring helps. Acrylic from the airgun gives a nice finish and i can use the matt enamels for the other bits and bobs.

Thanks monica, i may have actually left the wash on and totally forgot about it as the turret seems rather over washed.
