    1:35 Tamiya Stug III Ausf.G 10.5cm

    Evening gents

I finished this one as part of a project I am trying, its was a quick shake and bake tamiya kit with a turned RB 10.5 barrel

I used a AK Dunkelgelb paint set and it is weathered with washes only,

here we go with a few pictures

    The target for the build

The build blog at a little place I know

    Tamiya Stug III G build

Thsi is part of my dunkelgelb and weathering project,

    Nice work Steve.
Your paint has a realistic warm, deep finish. Something I struggle to achieve.

So you've been moonlighting! Very convincing wear and tear there Steve - juts right.

          Evening gents

          Appreciate your input, thank you.

          Thanks Dave

Si, it is deep, as it is multiple applications, wash on, wash off, 2 -3 times a day for 7-10 days.

It suits my schedule as I only have 30 minutes to a hour a day at best.

          Peter, Moonlighting?

          Dubious American comedy detectives LOL

Long story with PA, which started 7 years ago with a teacher called Vinnie, you might recall?

If not it will save for another day.

I am lucky to have 2 homes now, one with a very small family and my new home from home with lots of exciting new things to find and a great painter to follow

          Thanks again

          regards

          Steve H

Agree with my good friend Steve on the fire extinguisher, really looks the part. I think I've built this, looked nothing like yours ! :disappointed::disappointed:

                Afternoon

                Thanks chaps much appreciated

Question, how do I edit the title as I got it completely wrong! oops!!

Steve/John I always do fire extinguishers as a colour counterpoint, with some great decals to lift them.

Its just my thing, sad but true, along with loving making tracks up too!

I am getting used to it, I think I went a little too far, but she is growing on me

She will definitely benefit from a base with the Tamiya figures and a restocking background.

                That will be 2019

Time to dive into the other builds in the dunkelgelb builds P z III next

                Regards

                Steve H

                        Hi Steve
The finish on that is first rate. Very realistic.
