    1/87 Scale Tiger I (late)

This kit is Herpa's rendering of the late Tiger in the Minitanks series. I personally think it is more accurate than the older Roco version of the Tiger. At any rate a lot is still required to make a fairly respectable model.

Thanks Paul, The cables are a trademark of mine, started twisting my old speaker wire years ago with aviation twist wire pliers.
They allow you good control over how tight you twist the strands. Diameter is determined by how many strands you start with.
The weld seams are easier than they look. Just groove the area you want, mask off with Tamiya tape and apply automotive glazing putty. NAPA $5.00.
Tool it with a dental pick while it's still soft and done. How 'bout that sling on the MP40!
      Cheers Rick H.

        Hi Rick
That would have been good if it was 1/35 but at this scale it is quite amazing.

BTW if you stand them together the Herpa turret is lower in profile so looks more accurate. PaulE
