When I first saw the manufacture's name I expected the worst, but what a revelation this kit has been.
The mouldings and fit have been outstanding. This kit is up there with the best.
The tracks, although obviously repetitive and took up a large percentage of the build, went together easily. Apart from the usual sprue attachment points there was absolutely no further work needed on the links. Considering the amount and they all slotted and hinged together, this is outstanding in anyone's book.
The tank is all brush painted using a big flat headed one for the large areas and a 00 fine point for the detail. Any bare metal was achieved with a pencil.
The paints were Vallejo Model Air acrylics and children's cheap 'In the tube' acrylics. No primer. It took just one coat of German Grey to do the trick, even on the P.E.
This has been built for my Grandson. He didn't want full weathering, so I've just given the wheels, the front and back a very thin coat of Vallejo 'Dirt'.
I hope you approve of the result.
More to the point I hope he likes it 'cos all I would like from him is a smile, a thank you and a great big hug!..... :tears-of-joy::thumb2:

....and just for fun. Next to a Stuart.....:astonished:

Thanks to all who posted their encouraging and humorous posts during the building of this model.
I appreciated them all.
Cheers.
Ron
