    1 72 scale Maus in action !!!

[COLOR=rgb(102, 102, 102)]Hi guys I am not in to paper panzers … But could not resist buying the 1 72 scale dragon maus kit ,as it wasn't far away from completion?
.I wanted to have it in action in a dio and saw a photo on line of a Russian T 34 crushing a panzer 2 tank and decided to ring the changes .
Hope you like my bit of fantasy, crew have decided to bail out.

A great idea and pretty amazing work at such a small scale.

Neat, shows off the huge size of these beasts nicely.

In reality they weren’t around long enough to start rusting :smiling3: but as you say they did actually exist - could be a Russian trial that has gone horribly wrong

From memory I think two prototypes were built. There are definitely pics of the one with a concrete structure on top instead of a turret undergoing trials at the proving ground - Boblingen?
I converted the Dragon 35th one many years ago when the kit was first released.
The Russians got the one that is now in Kubinka - think I read that they got a hull and a turret and joined them themselves to make a complete tank.
