Thanks Paul. You're right and markings do add a lot to these simple kits. I have bought a couple of sets of basic decals and used a few on the kits I have completed.
However, I'm likely to only buy one of each type of vehicle available (unless there are noticeable differences such as between the T34/76 and T34/85 or a Blitz and Maultier) so having a set of specific numbers for a squadron or division would be of no great use. If I can find room for a national marking, vehicle number or some sort of division ID I'll put them on a vehicle, but ANY sort of suitable marking will do for me. The research needed to provide accurate markings for kits holds no interest for me. As long as I get German markings on German tanks, and Russian on Russian etc I'm happy.
