    BTR 152

Hello all it's been a long time but recent surgery meaning I'm not even allowed to put my arms above my head for six weeks wich has somewhat over ruled the current lockdown saw me search the stash ,I think this came with something else on flea bay so not standing me in for much gave it a go.
Not a bad little kit I think about 18 to 20 years old still available from ICM for about seven and a half squid ,I scratched the vision slit flappy things ,hood handles and center hinge ,aireal mounting and aireal ,re did the rad loovers and bracing on the head light potato waffles (guards) ,none of wich were in the kit I gleaned it from the box art , saying that with a lot of these kits from the Ukraine best place to see where the part goes if the instructions don't show it plainly, this must be the first kit I've finished for nearly two years ,I've even got another under way .......Click image for larger version

          Dave,
lovely work! Some of the older eastern bloc kits can be the basis of a really nice model - on the other hand, I started a SKIF BTR-152, in 1/35 - gave up, life is too short to fix things like that!

Nice to see you back at the bench Dave. A lovely little build. Very impressed with the realistic finish. I hope fitness allows you to get going with another build.
