I'm with the guys here Mike Older Than Me person. I have quietly watched this work come together with a whole lot of goodies and fantastic moggelling skills both with plastic, etch and carpet. I love the way you have laid carpet all over the hull and the turret. It is truly a shame you painted it over with green as the original color was very good…..

As I poured over your work, I did notice an error or two though Sir. Nowhere in the build did you mention whether you used pile or a form of shag carpet on the hull and turret. I have scoured the pictures and have also found that you have totally overlooked the addition of vacuum cleaner outlets to plug in the hose for cleaning the carpeted areas...

Now Sir, I am afraid this goes 100% against the rules laid down by the ASPCA or the English equivalent ESPCA. No, nothing to do with animals I'm afraid. It stands for American or English Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Armor or Armour as the case may be.

I only hope that they overlook these infractions and don't come knocking on your door, any time soon, to serve you papers that state the amount of fine you have to pay for your errors of the way….

Other than that, this is one hell of a build Mike and I tip my hat to ya!!!!!!

Good Morning Younger Than Me person,
                Dear Sir/Madam/Inbetween
I am sorry that the carpet laid was not to your liking, but it does come clearly into the UYIYDNLI area of expertise and manufacturing standards (Up Yours If You Do Not Like It) The owner of said vehicule dictated upon seeing said vehicule in abreviated form Quote - "Get that .... covered before the old woman sees it." And so that is why we covered the original carpet in our new instant dye made from the left side of trees...

Now we must come to the very touchy problem of the lack or non installation of electrimechanicalworker outlets, if one had taken the time to peruse the carpet correctly, one would have seen that they are in fact not on/in/or about said carpet but in fact in four positions around the walls, as you can see, here, here, here and here, all you have to do is lift the flap with the little lightning label and plug in.

As for the serving of papers, I find that six bottles of Polish Lager and JD chasers were fine enough and I slept like a baby.

I will certainly overlook the infractions, I only deal in whole numbers starting with $$$$...

I am pleased you enjoyed the build, been wanting to do a Challenger for some time, and after the next build I could get to grips finally with a Challenger 1, the turret bin of which I finally built during this fun job.
Take care young fellow, still smiling at your comments - carpet indeed, had black non slip up my nose and in my ears for days.....
                Cheers and stay safe.
                Mike.
