Takom 1/16 Imperial Japanese Army Type 94 Tankette

Hi all! Finally got this little beast on its base and despite a couple of minor tweaks I've just noticed , I'm calling this finished!
OOB with the addition of the driver which I did by simply squashing the head from the kit supplied figure into a blob of well talced Miliput.
4 hours later I painted the inside of the mould with vaseline and pushed a couple of blobs of fresh Miliput into it ( and obviously removed them very carefully to avoid distortions )and let them cure.

Picked the best one, cleaned it up, painted it and stuck it inside :smiling3:

      Hi Mark
That's a superb result. Great paint job and the detail is impressive even given the larger scale. Love the "head" inside.

Looks amazing Mark, beautifully painted and weathered. Also intrigued by your 'casting' method, I'll have to try that.

Excellent detail. The handles on the tools look like real wood, are they?

No they are just the kit plastic ones...IIRC I based with sunny skin tone and lined it with Burnt Umber, Black, Light Flesh and then used a couple of very thin washes of Games Workshop Scorched Brown and finally highlighted with Sunny Skintone...
All paints Vallejo except the scorched brown

Amazing, even the wife thought it looked like real wood.
