You should have done it !! As Jakko said - in the other thread - its your model paint it how you want - and not what others or history say you should conform to. its all open to interpretation.
Part of this hobby is the satisfaction of actually putting all the little bits together to produce a machine that looks the part. The remaining and I always think the larger part is seeing it finished and painted as you anticipated.
So if you are happy with the overall white, you should be proud of that finished vehicle, it certainly does look the part. :thumb2: :thumb2:

That made me sit up, some great paint work Del.
Like the underlying rust ready to break through along with that mud splatter.
The Committee were very impressed and unanimously voted for the award to be made.
