A couple of points Robert, your Tiger wouldn't get far with the tracks not engaged with the drive sprocket ( pic 6 ) & the turret numbers and balkenkruez would have been under the whitewash. Other than that, a credible first go at the weathering etc!

    Cheers

Glad you're enjoying yourself mate, that's what it's all about! And we all have ' doh! ' moments - if you look at my Pershing, I glued the driver & bow gunner in before adding the turret, only to realise I couldn't get it on with them in the way! Ended up cutting off the turret lugs & gluing it on with PVA!

        Cheers

Robert this is one excellent first go at weathering, particularily winter cammo. which usually gets overdone, but I reckon you have the balance just about right. The rust and exhaust 'smuts' are great, you have every right to be pleased with the result. Grand job.

But why have you gone over or removed the decals?? (I presume that's what has happened )

Seems a bit drastic, all you had to do was get your modelling knife and just roughly scrape around the crosses and numbers to reveal a bit of the cammo.....

Incidentally, there are pictures of Tiger 1's where the crews have accidently gone over part of the numbers ect. with the white wash and have roughly re-painted them by hand..........

            Well done,

            Ron

Ron, I think Robert's extra work was down to me, as I thought the markings looked wrong as they were.

What you said is valid, but I do think it looks better now than before IMHO.

              Cheers
