Thanks again for the comments chaps, very nice thank you.

Aaron .... the bushes are made like this

get a thin wire length and bend it double

hook the bend over a nail/hook/pin and lay one length flat on the bench.

apply glue to this length of wire

lay short lengths of unrevelled garden twine (i use brown to simulate twigs) across the glued wire in clumps leaving a clear space in between to form the trunk.

lay second wire over the top

secure the loose ends in dremmel and twist the wire into a rope.

the shorth twine lengths get caught in the twists and end up pointing in all directions

when dry cut wire to form bushes and trim the longer twine to taste.

apply spray adhesive to twine and use any scatter/leaves/herbs you like to form the leaves.

That reads right in my head ... if it doesn't actually make sense i'll see about doing a photo step-by-step

Tony ... there's another one in the shop if you want it

Aaron ... i use railway scatter/bush material, the herbs i use are the cheapo supermarket "dried mixed herbs"

Trey ... ahh the figures .... its amazing what you can do with a microscope, needle and cigarette-lighter, scalpel and a few hours of your life
