    Shermanski

ive recently started to have a go at armour............totally different game to shiny cars and bikes lol.....finding it a challenge to be honest

this was the first tank i tried doing 'proper'

Academy 1/35 M4A2 Sherman used by the Soviets

first time doing an oil pin wash (rather than just practising on a scrapper), had a go at scratching the cargo on the back,.....need a different size rope as i think the one i used is just a tad too thick for scale but it was all i had at the time

whist doing some research (i call it research........'er indoors calls it skiving off on the computer ) and i found this pic of the Russkies in a German cty....the kit came with the same turret numbers so had to use them, didnt i?

plan was to make a dirty/dusty tank rather than a muddy one.....aint that confidant yet lol

You're right about the rope, but everything else is first class!

    Welcome aboard.

Looks very nice to me! A very clean build, with an interesting dusty effect.

      Fantastic, congratulations!

      Cheers. Polux

I would be highly delighted with having a first like your tank Paul.

Not a tank man (yet) but looks really good. Certainly met your challenge & did it "proper".

There really are some great models being produced on this forum.

          Really very good Paul.

Nice job. I like the weathering - very realistic.

My next tank build is going to be a T34 in German colours and markings; inspired by a video I saw of one being pulled out of a lake in Estonia.
