Let's have some fun.....
Stirred on by John's excellent Oddball's Sherman, I have had a go at one of my favourite bits from Kelly's Heroes.....Could be yours too!
I made it after my dinner last night....Straight forward with two bits of polystyrene for the walls. Plywood with muck on it for the track and painted with cheap acrylics.
The 1/35 Tiger tank is from my bits box, re-painted with the correct markings and splattered with - To quote Oddball "Beautiful, pretty colours, man"
The buildings behind are some 1/72 ones I built a while back. They are actually touching the front of the tank. They look quite a bit further back in the photo, and luckily look the right perspective - better than the wallpaper that is actually behind the model!!
Here it is, just one picture of the incident......At least it's a proper Tiger, not like the lash ups in the film! Still my all time favourite film though, warts and all!
I hope you like my attempt.....
"Man, I aint tangling with no Tigers!"
