    1/16 M41 'GORILLA' MGC 'SMOKY JOE'S'

I am calling this one done.

I tapped some brass tube and fashioned the tightening bolt from a bolt epoxied into a hub cab (see front top hull area), this now fastens it better as it was flopping around.
Final piece was a scratched made intercom box with mouthpiece and headphones, managed to finish it today while charging batteries as the temperature is starting to drop.

The lower and upper is all finished only jobs are wiring (which I have started), MFU control box etc but, am leaving it for a while.

So here she is, the: M41 MGC 155MM 2 PART BAGGED AMMUNITION HOWITZER.

          Very impressive, indeed, Si.
One question, if I may: are those brass discs the bottom of 0.22 LR spent cartridges?

Hi Andrea, thank your liking and appreciate the comment. Yes, they are spent .22 cartridges. The ammo used on this is a two part, bagged. Shell amd then bag charge. I thought the cartridges looked better than all just blank covers in the stowage rack.

Another cracker from the Si Stables - and hardly any rust!

                  Top job Si.

Thank you Mick, when I get around to it, I will get the electrics finished off, got to sort out some new pins for the connectors. I also have a KV1 stripped down on the bench at the moment :smiling:.
