    Papa 695s 1/72 ACE Salamander ( Dave’s emergency vehicle GB )

Well I’m calling this one done, a nice kit from ACE, a little fiddly at times, but thoroughly enjoyed the build.

In time I may build a 1/72 aeroplane and put it on a base.

That's turned out very well indeed. And not something I have seen done before.

Ooh , caused a stir in the Committee Room as
Matron loves the colour, reminds her of blood !

              Congratulations Ian .

Very nice, Ian. Remember these well, from various RAF bases.

Thanks John, so in your opinion, what's the best aircraft to go with it on a smallish base?

Hi, Ian. Could be anything from the 60's really. Hunter's, Lightning, any of the V bombers., Argosy. Really depends on your base size. If it's smallish as you say then a fighter would probably be best.
                    John.

Thanks John. I think I have a 1/72 Lightning in the stash. I’ll go take a look.

Nice result that Ian. It will look great next to a Lightning too!

Glad that you got the masking tape off the inside of the cab! Been there done that. lol

That has turned out really well Ian. A subject I've not seen before. Definitely worth a simple base with a suitable plane.
