Finished as an early RAF example, in Khaki-Green No3 and Dark-Green No4.
Interestingly, these were one of the first examples of the now ubiquitous 4x4 '3-tonner'. Even more interestingly, the RAF adopted the four-wheel drive 3-tonner before the army. The RAF introduced the Crossley FWD, in April 1940 and the Nubian in June 1940. The army on the other hand didn't adopt the QL until the middle of 1941.
