              That is very nice Charles. all the way around it just looks right. a very nice model.


              Being nosy where did you get all the baggage items and spade. They look very well detailed. also have i missed something what scale is this ?

                Thanks Laurie. Most of the baggage is resin i had a very very long time ago. Never had the need to use them until now. The spade and the rest of the tools came with kits i bought but never used. Just saved them for moments like this build.


                The scale is 1/35. The pickup is Meng's kit which I modified.

                      Only just caught this, just excellent.


                      I think if placed with the appropriate background it would be indistinguishable from the real thing.


                      Maybe just me, but those ramps look to be really steel.

                                Thanks Phil. The basis for this build is the Meng pickup kit. I modified it by moving the doors, which is removal, did not add the roof and added some parts and small scratch built parts to get it looking the part.
