    Airfix 1/48 Albion 3-Point Fueller (A03312)

Built OTB but have since added rigging for the fueling booms. Lovely model with very nice engine and fuel pump details should you wish to build with no engine hood and doors open. No flash to deal with the only problem was the greasiness of the plastic, had to wash the sprue a couple of times and even then when it came to paint I had to clean some parts again

    Another nice model Peter.

Same as before would like to see some closer photos.

I would add that for me I would have added some effects on the tyres to give a wear look.

Hi Papa. In a way yes, I wanted something to go with my 1/48 aircraft, so I was looking around for whats out there in metal. The answer is not a lot, so with my limited skills I took ago at building some. Here's a line up with two HM metal models and no it's not for the Lanc just in a line up Also maybe you can see that they are a dirty brown and not the grey/brown of the pictures, I put that down to the fact it was a grey day and raining when I took them. Would have done the two tone camo as the box art but on buying the correct coloured Humbrol pots of paint as per instructions found what was inside the pot did 'NOT' correspond to the colour on the pot ?????

Thanks Dave. If this is the same kit in the set then it's a very good kit with a 'very' detailed engine to view if you don't fit the bonnet, also of course are the fuel valves in the back if you have doors open. Hope it goes well and I know yer building the Lanc as I'm following you

Really nice Peter, I really am going to have to have a go at some of these small scale trucks.

Great looking truck Peter. I like your display of aeroplanes too, the vehicles will supplement those nicely.

It's no good... I've been resisting, but I'm just going have to go to the dark-side (Bedford MW too- although I shall probably convert that- mind you just think what I can do with this!)
