    I went for an straightforward build no tweaking or detail stuff.

    Then I thought I’d knock up a quick base...a bit of foam board and some mud in a pot.

    Once the acrylic mud had dried I chucked some scenic stuff at it and chucked the jeep on...

        Crikes, you don't hang about, it takes me a couple if hours to open the box and get organized. Out of interest how do you apply the mud, neverbused it but am looking to.

          Hi Si
          Speedy build hasn't lowered the standard. Looks great and the base really compliments it. Bet your children are proud of their dad - mind you being a present from the children it wouldn't have done to put it in the stash.

              The Vallejo mud is easy to use, just spread it on with something flat like a ice lolly stick or a pallet knife.
              I got one from hobby craft to spread it with...other art and craft superstores are a available :nerd:

                  That's a neat build Si, can't beat that Vallejo mud can you. Very nice , think those side bags look nicely moulded, they really stand out. Gardening looks the part !

                    I had to paint those bags a few times before I was happy! Glad you like the gardening :smiling4: I’ve amassed a good selection of bits and bobs but have my eye on some more:nerd:
