    Tamiya 1/35 Kettenkraftrad

When I bought this kit it was pretty much a brand new release from Tamiya, but I had a couple of years pause between building it and finishing the figures!

An amazing kit that goes together very well, if a little fiddly due to its diminutive size. It has a nicely detailed engine that you can't see at all once built.

I'm presenting it on a base that I knocked together quickly today, so please don't be too harsh :smiling5:

            Superb stuff there Andy,
I did one of these a few years back also,so realise how small they actually are!!
Love what the finish is that you've achieved on this one mate, and with those excellent figures, it's something to be very chuffed with indeed!!

Thank you all, glad you like it, and I'm glad I dusted it off after all this time.

I think the driver (rider?) has a touch of the googly eyes :nerd: but he was my first victim.

I'm really glad you finished it up Andy. Top work Sir!!! I can't believe you threw the base together in such a short time. It's really good.

Nah, he just hit a bump in the path that rattled Mr. Happy and his two friends. He's just in some pain...

Base came out great. The whole scene is impressive.
....thought he had some small sunglasses on.

Thanks Allen, I think the glue was still wet in those pictures!

Cheers Paul. I've spent some time today reshaping the eyes a bit. I should have stuck with the John Lennon style shades excuse

                        Thanks Jakko.

I changed one of my bulbs to a much warmer one to try and give a bit of a sunset type effect.

It's certainly more flattering on the colours than my usual daylight led's
