I'm not an authority on zimmeritt but I thought there were sections missing and it wasn't in rows like that , more like square blocks and it went across not down

Panthers (like STuGs) differ somewhat from P4s, Tigers etc.

Late A models were at the forefront of the application of Zimmerit. Early ones had a single coat that was scored with a trowel horizontally & vertically, the so-called 'tile pattern'.

Later Late A's had 2 coats, the second receiving the extra vertical impression, probably made with a cog wheel.

So yep, that Eduard zimm would be fine on a Panther A any time after Oct '43.

      Cheers

      Patrick
