    AFV Red and White polls

    You often see red and white striped polls on the back of some AFV. My latest build Tamiya Wespe has these too.


    Please can anyone explain what these are and what they are used for.

      They are ranging poles, commonly used by mobile artillery.

          Just kidding, those would be range finding poles as Patrick says.
