Hey, anyone know what primer was used on US AFVs in WWII? Got alot of US stuf to get finished and need info. I have read conflicting reports, I.E. Red Oxide primer or Zinc Chromate Yellow or Zinc Chromate Green… Need to know for “chipped paint” effect. Tom
Does anyone know what the color of pimer was for tanks of the different contries in wwII? I would like to know all of them for reference but I am working on a French FT-17 and want to have some of the paint worn off showing the primer and bear metal. What is the color of the primer?
Okay I don't know if it has been asked before. I can not find it. But what color were American tanks primed in. Thanks Cheers Jeff
It looks like a really neat kit. I hope you show us some pictures of the build. Good luck
