New to this forum, Tamiya tank question

Evening anyone reading this, I am new to the world of model tanks but not model making, Ive just bought a Tamiya 1/35 scale Tiger 1 late model, I’ve read about replacing either the standard barrel and tracks with metal versions. I’ve read about Fruielmodel tracks, suspect I’ve spelt that wrong, and know where to source them, but can’t find where I should buy a metal barrel for this model. Any idea? Any advice great fully received.

RB models do very good and relatively cheap metal barrels.I've used them for a Warrior,Cromwell and a few others. Also their cal.50 barrels.
There are other companies of course but never had an issue with RB.
    Jon.

I would try this site's shop and look under 1/35 accessories bound to be a Tiger metal barrel there. As Jon said RB Models do very good barrels for a good price the only downside is you don't get any instructions but with barrels it's pretty easy to work out what goes where with most but not all, there are many brands and it all comes down to what you want to pay.

      cheers

If you want to push the boat out a bit the Aber series are better detailed

German 88 mm KwK 36 L/56 Tiger I (Late model) barrel
          Aber - Nr. 35L28 - 1:35
