    Syrian 34/85

    I've got a Russian t34/85 in the stash (72nd scale) saw that MiniArt do a syrian one in 35th is there much difference or can I just sorce some decals and paint it a sandy colour. Dave

    I’m not an expert on the T-34, but some quick googling suggests that the Syrians use(d?) pretty standard T-34-85 (note spelling ) tanks, but of the post-war variety and with a large mounting for a DShKM machine gun on the turret roof. Other than having to add that gun, you’ll want to use a kit that has angular front mudguards rather than curved ones, as the latter were only used during the Second World War, AFAIK.

      Yes David T34/85 , don't know about the front track mudguards but Jakko will be right.
      I did one in 1/72 with Simon T , made it in to a Israeli captured static gun . Just painted it in a light sandy colour . Sure you will to be able to source some decals .
