    Big king further progress pics

    Hi all this is my progress so far with the 1/16 king tiger the lower hull internals are almost done but i have a loooonnnggg way to go yet so hope you like it so far and as usual all comments are welcome be they good or bad.

        The next step pics

        Hi all ok this is what i have done to the king tiger so far, the shell storage racks are in and painted the shells are done, the tracks are built and painted but not yet weathered. The next step is to build the main hull then the turret, so there is still a way to go hope you keep watching as usual all comments welcome.

          Its looking great and what a load of detail- How much of that will be seen?

            Not much when the turret is on, only what can be seen through the hatches but the inside of the turret will be fully detailed as well.

                Was thinking this myself ... all that detail and it'll be lost when the tops on.

                Silly question (maybe) ... could you not make the body "removeable" so the detailing can be seen?

                  Hi guys, i suppose i could but this is being built for a client who by all accounts is quite clumbsy and although i have been given free reign on the build and the paint i'd hate to think that it could all be ruined. However if it were mine then that would be a deffinite yes but icknose:thems the breaks i guess.
