Cheers Paul! Fruils are lovely, but as you say their cost is just too much for me!

Hi Patrick this really is looking great, what colour are you planning on painting the gun barrel.

Thanks Tom! The gun barrel will be a medium / light grey. I made the mistake once of doing one in red primer before I discovered that the Germans used a heat-resistant paint & never red oxide primer!

Nice one, look forward to seeing that, are you thinking of putting it in a scene?

It's going to have a crew (Miniart Panzer crew in winter uniform) & hopefully some supporting panzer grenadiers. Other than that, it'll just be a simple vignette

Looking great Patrick. Not being a armor builder I still hear alot of bad press about vynil tracks. How hateful are the a/m replacements? Looking forward to the next update.

Thanks Trey! Vinyl tracks are a pain mostly in terms of getting them to sag properly. That's why I prefer individual link sets.

The only AM one's I could find for this type were metal Fruils, but at £25 they cost as much as the kit! Too rich for my budget

I've done some chipping, I want a well-worn look for this one.

The engine deck covers are homemade, Trumpeter supply pe fan covers, but nothing else! Weird!

Next will be some weathering with oils & dust effects.

                    Cheers

This one has moved on a bit (I'm trying to ignore the Dragon Panzer III that's yelling " build me! build me! ")

I've added the pioneer tools & some dust / mud effects.
