Although this is an excellent kit, I am not feeling the love for it and the mojo is suffering. That said I have done a bit more. The drivers compartment and hull floor have been fitted.

The compartment was replaced with some brass sheet and plastic sheet and the fire extinguisher was scartched from some plastic rod and some spare etch from the bits box.


this will be painted before assembly. Next up the radio sets.

How are you finding the plastic Scottie? I've found with a couple of Takom kits that it feels like the moulds have been coated with a silicon spray and it's quite hard to get rid of that feel even with a good soapy wash...

Nick, the plastic seems ok so far. I always rub worn scotchbrite other scourers are available over large portions and other details during the build.

Thought I had already bought my ticket for the front row seat for this one Scottie. The manufacturers must be thinking, dang it, he found something we forgot to put in again.????
