Thought I would do the Korea version but then found conv.kit in box {part of free stash!} turns out these went to Germany near the end, so WW2 version! hope I have time to finish it before things start to perculate around here. My friend John asked if I could do a WIP especially the weathering aspect, I'll try to fit it in although I'm not so sure how good of a teacher I would be ops: but I'll give it a go Cheers

Hi Jim I dont know if you remember but I'm doing ( amongst other projects my 1/35 Hetzer diorama. Well seeing as you seem to be an avid modeller I am after some advice. I'm thinking late war say Ardennes and from ref it was used a lot during the offence ( battle of bulge) I have been researching photos and I may have found a perfect scene to replicate however I am trying to locate the serial or unit it belonged to and this is where I need help ( the picture shown shows possible sign/ insignia on lower left of rear hull and wondered if you would have any idea and would they be available on after market decals

Oh! as far as after mkt decals I'd imagine you can get just about anything you desire, to narrow it down a bit

I'd say look for SS Panzer Div, decals in general

I like the Pershing - the tank shape that a child would draw.

Hey guys, got some work done finally, armor plating from panther left panzer yellow for a bit of contrast. Put down base color of vehicle and gave a dark wash. Put make shift stowage basket on glacis plate {why not} Kit had warped hull and resin conversion kit was primitive at best but will make a good job of it I hope. I decided to use all steel tracks from DML T26 Heavey Tank kit. I just like the look of them better and could have quite possibly been on said vehicles since T26 came out first" Much more to come as time and life permits. Still a loooong way to go on this one so stay tuned ...............Jim

Love it! I'm getting a much clearer picture of how you work now. Every model is a blank canvas eh?
