My first tank - Tamiya M5A1

    Hi

Just a few shots of my first tanky model, a Tamiya M5A1

Very slow process. have some photo-etch*shudder* and after market tracks.

Wondering on how to finish it. should i paint the wheels separate or put them all on with the track then paint it all as one?

Then again have to finish the damn thing first!

Most folk paint the wheels while off the vehicle, makes life a lot easier, impossible when the tracks are in place.

    Nice start Adrian.

personally i paint them seperate....sometimes add before giving the whole thing a wash, sometimes dont.....tracks are one of the last things to get added

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been

Great work so far for your first tank, agree with the above, same method for other bits as well, especially small tools and what - nots on hull and turret, they only get in the way of weathering and such so best to do them separately ..................Jim
