Last nights work, getting the wheels painted, coat of black all over the wheels, then masked and Israeli undercoat followed by hemp. Nightmare with airbrush though, halfway and stopped spraying paint, nothing not a jot. Airflow still ok, so stripped down , deep clean, reassembled and still same, repeated and seems ok now. Weird lumpy stuff came out of paint cup fixture, thick and gooey !!!!!
Thanks everyone , shame most of it will be out of view once buttoned up, but i know its there, Think will see little bits through the open hatches, as long as optics dont go to far in.
Been looking for a while for a suitable figure(s) for the carrier, wanted something different for this one, not fighting, in the street or desert, just at rest taking a moment out, so found this chap. Should be winging his way from Japan soon(ish), put on a desert base;
That is a cool figure!
Nice choice of a soldier in a non-combative stance - an interesting contrast that you will be creating. Who is the figure by?o_O
Master club - Czech I think (hobby link Japan sell them). Quite a few photos of real tank crew praying by their mounts
After spending a couple of hours trying to put one length of tracks together, bit the bullet and have ordered model kasten t-55 workable tracks ( other option was the fruil set, seem fiddly with cutting wires). The meng items just dont click or even line up correctly, some do and some dont, tried two different glues and they just dont seem to dry enough for them to be pliable but also stay together as do the magic tracks by dragon. start drapping them onto the wheels and they come apart. Off on holiday for 10 days next week so wont hold me up to much. Not happy
