After spending a couple of hours trying to put one length of tracks together, bit the bullet and have ordered model kasten t-55 workable tracks ( other option was the fruil set, seem fiddly with cutting wires). The meng items just dont click or even line up correctly, some do and some dont, tried two different glues and they just dont seem to dry enough for them to be pliable but also stay together as do the magic tracks by dragon. start drapping them onto the wheels and they come apart. Off on holiday for 10 days next week so wont hold me up to much. Not happy
That's a real downer with the tracks Steve .......... I hope my T90A tracks work out better.
yep not good, seeing as how well the rest of the kit goes together . Strange as the renault FT17 tracks click together and the bradleys are ok as well. The early Achzarit had rubber band tracks and reckon they would be better than these kit ones. Shame as you can get two/three to join together with no gap, but then cant join these to another one as a gap appears ! ARGGHHHHH
Disaster tonight, just finished one full run and Half of the other run of the tracks, while watching "desert storm heroes ( awful TV movie ) when I stood up knocked the tray and the tracks hit the tiled floor, know have 15 bits of track, lost loads of pins. Luckily on my desk upstairs I have some 'flower wire' which slightly thicker, fills the hole. But more time consuming.
So off we go again, another weekend of assembling tracks

Been there, done that and got the bloody T-Shirt.......... When I did my tracks, I thought I'll sit myself down on the sofa and clean up some track parts. Tray on lap, parts in a plastic Chinese Takeaway box....... cleaning away ....... and the damn cat decided to launch himself onto my lap.......... I lost loads to the carpet monster. But luckily Meng supplied a whole load more than I needed.

I feel your pain.
This build is looking like a cracking job Steve.
No offence but I really wanted to click the funny button. I didn't, out of respect for the carpet monster. He may come for me next.
The wire was an epic fail, not the right tolerance, so made up all the bits I could with pins and I discovered on the tray were loads of 'fallen out pins', damn microscopic. So how best to pick them up and insert into the track holes, well after trying tweezers and a few pinging off never to be seen again , I came to the bright idea of white glue and a scalpel. touch of glue on the end of the blade, dab a pin, turn it upright, insert into hole and push in with a dry blade, so far seems to have worked, but got loads to sort out and still need to glue some together, but will put them on the bottom run, so wont matter to much, reckon another few days and should be done. Argghhhhhhhhh
