I replace the plasic tow ropes with wire ones,so much better to do more with,as I used them to,
help hold on the skirts that have been damaged, works well
Hi Monica.
How do you make your own tow ropes? I've seen a few sites etc and some "make your own", but never really too scale and some aftermarket can be pricey as we all know.

So can you share your secret
Kind regards

Hi Robert, what I,do is cut out the wire part and just use the ends,
on this one I,should of cut it back a little more,as the cable holder is a bit long, but oh well next time,
then I use the picture hanging wire,as its muli stranded,or you could use the wire from a lead, the 3 core stuff,
strip of the plastic cover, and then drill in a hole about 1mm or 1.5mm in the end,use the bit ,your not using the plastic one for length,
I did a swapsie with Peter ( takes lousy photos ) and got a Panzer IV ( Italaeri ) 1/35. I'm trying to find some info on the panzer in Africa as I want to do it as a knocked out tank ( with tow cables extended as trying to pull out of sand ditch)
Stil looking into reference before I start ( still learning on painting tanks ) so this would be a good lesson in doing desert colours etc.
Thanks Monica
