Base coat looks a great platform for filters etc. Nice work.

Like the grill covers, also some plain old window screening can also be used, I wouldn't sweat the road wheel perfection too much for as you say by the time you weather them and add a bit of road grime, mud etc.. you'll find that much of your perfectionistic habits can go quite un-noticed in the end. Though as you say it won't stop you from fretting over it anyway, believe me I know because

Oh, by the way all I got under the tree was a wool cap, and a pair of Minion pajamas

          Oh; and also a book

Let us ALL hope he does.

Your PM wants to ban him from England, not very wise to ban the next President of the United States, I think he needs a good scruffing if you ask me.

The picture on that book looks nothing like Hillary Clinton!

Dont quote me 100% but I'm sure the first run production tigers wern't fitted with the anti grenade mesh on there grills, this was a later update like the bar which is seen across the exhaust pipes to stop you putting explosives down them.

I wasn't sure, to be honest, but more folks thought it did, than those that didn't, so I stuck them on anyway - well, I did go to all the trouble of finding them!!

Quite a few filters on, starting to paint the details on the hull and given it a mist of varnish, ready for decals and some washes tomorrow.

Really looking forward to the next phases of this kit, but am going to take my time, layers are the secret to good rendering, so I must be patient!

Ouch, the colour looks way off here, I'll shoot it in the daylight tomorrow, for the correct hue! Too many bluey lights...

Same colour in daylight! Just goes to show that lighting has many different colours. My work lamps both claim to be daylight bulbs!

Decalled up and varnished. Now to get down and dirty! I'd have tried the wheels on for size, but the axle stubs have a blob of masking fluid on them prior to the application of mud!
