What colour will their eyes be Ralph I must try and remember the trick of starting off with a lighter uniform colour as I always end up going too dark when the shading starts even if it is the simple wash type I normally do.

Brown eye's,all of them.Why?,well when I started figure painting Ron Mckenzie(RIP) gave me this great tip.
When painting eye's up 54mm scale paint the eye's brown, and if you paint the face good enough no one will notice the colour of the eye's.
I tend to always start with a lighter shade than what I imagine the final colour should be.
And these figure's come from the German ww2 tank.Field maintenance crew 1/48.
