    Russian T62 ERA (Mod.1962)

    Hi Friends.

I've been working on this for a few days.

This is the first 1/35 tank I've done for about 20 years and is also the 1st time I've done all individual track links.

This kit has gone together very nicely although there was a few mis-numbered parts but easily sorted out.

Next will be onto the painting,my favourite part.

    All the best.

    Ralph.

Nice choice Ralph, I've always fancied a desert T-62.

All that reactive armour gives plenty of scope for weathering

                        Hi Friends.

Pre-shading done, and a misting of the main colour.I will go over this again with another misting when I have left it for an hour or so.

Really cracking on with this one Ralph. What are you using for the green? Russian green has taken over from the constant questions of German grey these days

For the green I used Tamiya XF13 JA green misted on so that the pre-shading shows through.

It will darken down when I do the weathering.

The b/w method of pre-shading is an interesting idea. I've seen it done to good effect over on Missing Lynx.

Lucky the boys on the 4BO site are only into WWII vehicles; could have been nasty using a non-approved colour
