my wife bought me this kit about 1 month ago , finally got the nerve up to start it , not too sure if I know what I'm getting myself into here LOL , there are just too many sprue's to show them all , took photo's of the manual , [56 page's] got the engine generator and gear-box together . the next step of weathering them and gluing the tank base together , look's a big step , might be a while before I post again . I also started the tread's . all 600 piece's .

That's a very big box Steve! There's so much scope for super detailing one of these 1/16 scale kits. I myself am thinking of using real wood for the handles of the pioneer tools on my Tiger B.
Paul (tr1ckey66) did the same on his 1/16 Tiger I. In fact, his build thread might offer inspiration, but due to the many changes in forum software, they seem to have vanished! -

That is one serious kit. It's looking good, I love the amount of detail. I'm just getting into modelling, proper like, and can't wait to tackle a real chunky kit. Can't wait to see how you get on.Comment
