    KING TIGER.

I never did get around to doing this for the GB Not been on much either.

I have finally got around to looking at the KT my lad bought me Xmas and found it was knackered inside regarding the electrics, looking at around £200 to sort that. With funds non-existent I was going to just pass on the shell but decided to use up the paint I had and create something for me, either to sell on or as a shelf sitter.

It is around 90% finished so I thought I would showcase what I have done so far.

      Looking good SiFi.
The GB lasts all year, so you could have put it in there. I've still got to start mine.

Excellent paint finish. What's your technique?

Ta Bob, glad you like it.

The hull and turret and both rattle cans, easiest option for this size-1/16.

I think it was a grey primer or finish coat, cannot remember for the turret and a sand glow enamel for the hull. I primed in red oxide and then did a pre-shade using the airbrush using black. Once dry I used Revell Aqua colour paints slightly thinned for the camo which I did just freehand.

Once dry I then used a matt varnish to seal before using black oil paint thinned and a make-up sponge to dab over the whole model, once dry I then used a un-thinned oil paint, a bit like dry brushing and sparingly on the edges etc to create a darker look. Once dry I then used a dust and rust pigments.

              Hope this makes sense lol.
