Afv Sdkfz 11

I've had this kit laying around in the stash for as long as I can remember, so I decided to get around to building it.
I've always liked the look of these vehicles and thought it would look great loaded up with ammo crates and fuel drums, towing a pak 40 :smirk:
And it just so happens that I have an Afv pak 40 laying around in the stash also....so:smiling4:

Thanks Monica, glad to have you along:smirk:

Managed to get a good bit done on this one, it's gone together with no issues with fit, I'm seriously thinking of getting another one of these :smiling3:

Thanks guys, glad you like it :smirk:
I managed to get a bit of a crack on with this one, so far I really am enjoying this build, I didn't encounter any fit issue's, the only real gripe with this kit is the supplied rubber track's, I didn't like them so I opted to go with a set Dragon individual track links:anguished:
I have continued chipping the paint on this vehicle, as I want it look like old war horse, that has seen better days :smirk: @

I decided to have a go at making my own ditching logs to add to the front of the Sdkfz 11.

I did this by cutting up some varied lengths of tooth picks, I picked some warped ones to give a little realism to the ditching logs.

Once I'd managed to get the desired bunch, these were super glued together, then two lengths of chain were wrapped around the bundle and super glued, I also used fuse wire to attach the bundle to the front bumper, I hope you like it as much as I do, as it adds something to the look of the vehicle

Nice work with the logs Tommy ( very convincing ), also with the two barrels.
