    El Alamein Sherman M4A1

    Hi I had just started building this when the Mil Mod news broke and if you do not mind I would like to share and finish it here.
    I have tried to improve the detail at the top of the boggies, added the 2 missing bolts from the lower arm and added 2 missing grease nipples to the top end of the lower arms.

    Assemeled transmission housing.

    Assemeled rear engine door panel, air cleaners, replaced handel with copper wire, added weld seams around door hinges , added up & lower hinge pin bungs.

    Fitted engine deck,rear air intakes,direct vision ports,F/R ventilators, 5 x armored fuel caps plus missing hinge pins and some PE grills.

    Added a splash ring in front of the vision port (is to delect machine gun rounds away from the port)

    Hi look what came in the post a bit ironic now was going to use it in the desert GB will still be using it.

      Just a small up date.
      Fitted F/headlights,F/ headlight guards, R/Tail lights, .30 cal ball mounted m/g, F/R lifting rings.




      Fittted exhaust.


      Had to modify the gun mount for the metal barrel (not using the plastic one supplied)

            Hi finished building the gun mount for the metal barrel, added 2x liftingrings and the .30 cal .

            Onto the turret fitting periscope blocks, cupola ring, A & B radio antennas, liftingrings, pistol port and lever, adding rivets
            to the hinges and blade sight.


            Made up rear turret locker and adding 2x straps and rivets to the hinges.


            Added small welds to the F/ headlight guards also added 2x headlight plugs to there iner sides

                              Hi had a day off from the tank and built the figures that I need manly the one sittig in the turret .
