Looking good Lee. The crane looks like fun. I also have collected the parts needed for something similar. I just haven't decided on a 5ton truck or sdkfz 7 halftrack for the 3 ton Bilstein's platform. I'll be watching closely for faults in my 1/87 resin version. PaulE

Hi Lee,

I've missed too much. Must confess I'm not a fan of 1/48 military vehicals but had to comment on a really nice build and conversion of the Maultier. :thumb2: You've cut the engine bonnet...are you adding an engine under the hood and detailing it?

Cheers,
Richard

Thanks Richard
I’ll be adding the engine but the hood will be glued shut

Worked on this a little today
I built a base for the crane body and put the tracks on as best I could after that I notice the front end was of the ground so I made a new axle for it. Think I’m going call it a day and get ready for Santa

Well you have a lot of builds on the go at the moment Lee. It looks fine with the new axle. I hope you have a chance to take this one the full distance.

Lee, nice to see you got the front axle sorted out. This is progressing very nicely.
Cheers, Rick H.
