The need, or lack of it, was explained pretty well above.

Far be it from me to question your integrity, but your sure it's the heat and not a few bottles of something:smiling:Comment

The only drink I've had is tonic water...... Yes on its own, purely for medicinal purposes. :upside: at the moment, by the time I get this Zimmerit on it will be with the Gin !:thumb2:

Greetings from the hot house.
Today the our friendly postman delivered 2 packets, he once said to Christine "he's been on the net again" .:smiling4:
From Pete Low a set of 2 Sturmtiger shells, thanks to Pete.:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2: Just shows how good the modelling world is .

Nicely molded , any ideas of the color anyone ? book not here yet.
The second package contained the Trumpeter Zimmerit tools, only plastic, but work ok . don't think I will use them very often so that will be good enough. Didn't take long to put them together either.

Of course having built them up you have to test. So using a scrap section of foamboard and the Uni-bond. A very thin smear was put on to the board , and then I tried the tools. Seem ok, but the uni-bond dries very quickly in this temperature and it was vert thin.

Ok there are some ridges, I 'd just run the tool down the board. It appears to me that the uni-bond was too thick in the centre , hence those ridges. Practice is called for before the real application.

Now for some of the figures. These three are from MB, stunning detail all over, and easy to clean up the seam lines. The chap sitting has had a Tamiya arm fitted . Why you my ask ! well his arm was used else where, because it looked good on another figure.
However the Mini-Art appear to be slightly larger and although the detail is good the don't clean up as well. On both set the faces are really detailed.
More equipment and figures on order . I do love it when things start to arrive and a plan is working.:smiling:
Thanks for looking in.

Looks good to me
Quote from paint description:
"Our water based primer available in a Dark Yellow perfectly suited for use under German Dunkelgelb vehicles and similar colours. Our primer has excellent adhesion and smooth matte finish that ensures that every detail of the surface will stay crisp and the paint will grip over smoothly. Optimized formula for maximum performance with either brush or airbrush. 60 mL jar. Water soluble, odorless and non-toxic. Shake well before each use. Each jar includes a stainless steel agitator to facilitate mixture. We recommend MIG -2000 Acrylic Thinner for a correct thinning. Dries completely in 24 hours. "Comment
