      Is that an L37A1 machine gun in the turret? I didn’t know Ferrets were ever equipped with those (though perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised ).

          Yes, I recognised it as such — I was mainly wondering if it was the L7, L8 or L37 variant, and guessed at the latter

              Like I said, I don’t recall seeing photos of Ferrets with a GPMG instead of a Browning, so this kind of stood out for me.

                I must admit when I was in the .30 was the usual mount for the ferret. And I am mistaken it was the L8 with the fume extractor and electrical firing solenoid the 37 had the ground role barrel and could be dismounted to be used in the ground role.
