    Cheers Rick.

Yep, got the rear platform and spade to get attached next, but I think I'll get the tracks weathered and fitted first so they are at the right height. Then it's on with those pesky figures.

                    Excellent model Bob.
are the tracks the T80 ones?

No idea on the tracks mate, they are the rubber ones that came with the kit.

They are T-80 tracks. On an HVSS Sherman, the WWII tracks with a “waffle” pattern are T66, the (almost-)post-war ones with steel chevrons like here are T80, and with rubber chevrons they’re T84. Pictures and more info here.

Reason I was asking is that I made the AFV Club M40 some years ago and found out later that the T66 tracks supplied were not right for Korea.Still got to replace them!

Do you have anything better to do today, then?

                              Bob,
It still looks good even without the tracks, and that is not bad lighting, it is mood lighting :rolling:, Happy New Year.
                              Mike.

                                Looking good Bob!
I remember building a 155mm SP howitzer back in the 60s - named "Big Shot" but I can't remember the kit manufacturer. It had a semi-enclosed 'cab' around the gun breech, not sure what the US type designation was. Not a patch on yours though.
