    Cheers Mike.

The new compressor arrived yesterday so I've been putting it to hard work today.

Yep, it works well. I'm certainly not going to pay a tenner for something I can make myself.

            Cheers Mick.

Got a little bit done today, that's all the main parts done. All that's left to paint are the tools, spare tracks, ammo and figures.

I like the patternation on the paintwork a lot Bob. The paint on the gun really shows up all the detail well. Which paints do you use??

                Cheers Steve.

My 2nd try at black basing (first go with an AFV). Top coat is Mission Models. It goes down very thin and needs lots of coats, but that just means I have a lot more control with the coverage.

I couldnt get on with Mission Models for that reason. However looking at your finish it might be worth giving them a go again:thumb2:

The paintwork looks really good the pre mottle certainly brings the top coat to life.

I’m with Steve: not for me, then. I want paint to cover in one go when I spray it

Don't you have to use it with their primer, to stop it attacking the plastic?

Pete, I use Stynylrez/Badger/UMP primer. The MM paint sticks fine to it and I haven't found it damaging to plastic.

I like the MM paint, I don't want it to cover in one coat so that I can control the amount the pre-shading/modulation/shadow that shows through.

                                Evening Bob,
As everyone has said, cracking start on the paintwork. The more I see of your build, the more I’d like one :tongue-out:
