Tamiya sdkfz 250/3

Hi all,
So while waiting for the gb's to start in earnest, I thought I'd try this one out, wether it gets finished is another thing.
Cheers

Hi Mike , not sure at moment, sixth army is a contender, prob not Rommels 250/3 but may be DAK also, the kit didn't have figures, and was off you know where, going to try a bit of wiring on the radio sets, cheers

If you want to be original, then paint it as anything except Greif

I’ve always liked Tamiya’s Sd.Kfz. 250 kits — sure, they’re probably not up to the standards of their Dragon counterparts, but how many other 1970s kits do you know that have link-and-length tracks?

Hi Jakko, As the box had no figs and plus I find it difficult enough to paint figures there was a benefit in not erring towards ''Grief'', no way I could depict Rommel., as for the tracks I was surprised, I was expecting rubber bands, so a new one for me.

I didn’t even know Tamiya did this kit! Quite fancy one myself now I know:thinking:.....especially as it doesn’t have the vinyl tracks!!
Ready when you are then:thumb2:

Bottom one looks like a Torn E.b.. poor representation.

Thanks Mike, I thought these images, for discussion purposes only, seemed a reasonable representation of the kit effort, like you said, bit iffy, what do you reckon? Your eye for detail is better than mine.:thumb2: here's the kit one again also.(bottom one)

And do you reckon this could be the other two? Cheers

It looks to me like those are the radios that Tamiya tried to represent, yes.
