Sorry John and others
I’m far from being snowed in Yesterday’s high temp. was around 60° so I took advantage of it and done a lot of cleaning and cutting brush around the little barn and chicken house. Hope to have a update today going to work on the tracks. Thanks for stopping by John and checking

More chance of heat stroke than of being snowed in, I’d say

Well here’s a update but I’m not happy with it the one track gave me a very hard time as you can see while the other went one on just fine but I noticed in the pics I posted I put it on backwards I went tried to correct it and the main drive spocket broke I’m done with this kit sometimes I wonder if this old stuff is worth building

Don't despair, that's what grass & mud are for.

Paul is right a bit of mud will sort it out. So don't worry to much it is all part of the learning curve I have done it myself as I'm sure most of us have.

Scottie. I’m going to back away from it for awhile thanks for the support I will return to it when it does bother me to fix it

Rick. Thanks for the encouragement I will return to it but not now

Perhaps I could interest you in an Autocar in 1/72nd scale. I know it's small but it was going so well. I would love to see you finish it.
Cheers and Merry Christmas Lee, Rick H.

Ok maybe it’s a Christmas Miracle but this build is at the threshold of completion. I added the tools, spare wheel and fixed those pesky track the best I could I’m going to wait to take some better outside pics before I post it in completed. Thanks for the help guys on this build

Very nice Lee.
BTW - I feel your pain regarding old Tamiya kits and tracks!!

I've got the desert version of this in the pipeline which wasn't intentional...I'd thought the kit would come with transfers to do a European theater version, but alas not.

Lee.
Glad you weren't cut off from the world.
Great recovery, don't ever worry about tracks . I'm the undisputed champion of track mistakes and fitting . As Paul has said a bit of mud covers most things, in my case it's half a lorry load . Do I care , no not anymore it's supposed to be fun .
Finish and the additional tools make it look good .
John :smiling:
