    Technically speaking, the Tamiya kit is only correct to build a desert version — one specific one, in fact, that was photographed for “enemy equipment recognition” pictures.

    This because it has a stowage bin on the left rear mudguard that shouldn’t be there — the Pz.Kpfw. II normally only had this bin on the right alongside the superstructure, but the captured and photographed tank had a second one, that Tamiya faithfully (well, to a degree ) replicated.

          Lee as the other guys have said no big deal about the tracks everything turned out fine and the build looks fantastic for this oldie but goodie kit
